Canyon Gift Guide

Role: Creative Direction and Digital design

For Canyon’s all-season Gift Guide digital campaign, the challenge was to develop a festive, emotionally resonant Creative Direction, without tying the visuals to any specific holiday or focusing too heavily on individual products, as items would rotate and sell out throughout the year.

Idea: Inspired by the "Amsterdam Dance Event" and my own evening bike rides through the city, I reimagined the concept of celebration through the lens of movement and light. The central theme: festive disco energy communicated via bike lights in blinking mode, in motion. The result is a joyful, energetic expression that celebrates cycling as an experience not just a product. 

Creative process

I led the entire creative journey:

From concept building and initial at-home testing. To content strategy prototyping and cross-channel asset planning. Through intensive stakeholder alignment, production, and delivery.

The campaign delivered hundreds of assets designed to highly perform across web, social, email, and retail - with special attention to maintaining a timeless celebratory feel.

Test idea

I have created a composition of needed products and did a test shooting at home with my phone. Then placed best examples in Canyon Figma prototypes for planned communication mockups.

Performance Highlights

Campaign visuals ranked among the most-clicked content during the 2024 year on the Canyon website. Strong cross-platform engagement, with content optimised for both paid and organic use. Extended life due to its non-seasonal yet festive tone.
